Libero Maspero founds Maspero Elevatori in Villaguardia, Como.
The first inclined elevator of modern design is born.
1972
Swiss subsidiary Lifta S.a. is established and Maspero Elevatori starts an intensive internationalization process.
1980
Maspero Elevatori designs and manufactures the inclined elevator with curved travel and no machine room.
1986
The Milan branch is opened and, 3 years later, the Genoa branch is opened.
1994
The new headquarters in Appiano Gentile (CO), with 3 production buildings and the test tower, enables the company to meet the growing need for space, which, 4 years later, will be further expanded.
1997
The company is certified with the UNI EN ISO 9001 Quality System.
1999
Maspero Elevatori patents MRL KOALA 2001 rope elevator.
2000
The Turin branch is opened.
2003
Maspero France is born, with headquarters in Paris.
2004
With the passing of founder Libero Maspero, his sons took over the reins of the company, which, 3 years later, became a Joint Stock Company.
2009
Maspero Elevatori certifies the procedure of elevator installation without scaffolding, allowing its clients significant cost containment.
In the same year, Maspero Roma was established as the reference sales branch for Central and Southern Italy.
2011
Maspero Elevators SL, based in Mendrisio, Switzerland, is established for the development of export business.
Maspero India is also established, in Thane, near Mumbai, while the company’s third production unit is started at the Appiano Gentile site.
2013
Maspero Holding is established, bringing together and unifying the group’s various Italian and international companies.
2019
In Russia, Maspero Russia OOO is born.
2022
Maspero Srl, a trading company based in Rome, is established.
2023
The new Maspero Elevatori Servizi Srl is entrusted with the management of all activities related to plant maintenance and modernization.
In the same year, it opens the subsidiary Sarl Maspero Monaco, in the principality of the same name.
