Museum elevators and elevators in Moscow: a new design by Renzo Piano

Maspero Elevatori was involved in the construction of the newly opened GES2 contemporary art museum in Moscow. The order involves more than 30 special systems, including glass elevators and museum elevators, followed in their life cycle, guaranteeing performance performance over time. The systems in question enable the mobility of visitors and the movement of works within the museum area, which is spread over an area of 40,000^m2, created from the restoration of an early 20th-century power plant in central Moscow. This project represents, once again, Maspero Elevatori’s commitment to the service of culture. All facilities are custom-built to the design of architect Renzo Piano’s RPBW. With the construction and maintenance of special elevator systems, designed to drawings and custom-made, we are recognized as an international leader. Renzo Piano himself considers us a best practice of Italian technology: an important recognition of our expertise of which we are very proud.
